In the name of feeding students in international tournaments, the Suspended School Games Federation of India has selected several state governments including Delhi for crores of rupees. The Union Sports Ministry has already suspended SGFI till further orders due to irregularities. According to sources, in addition to Delhi, this type of game has also happened in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Gujarat.

According to the media report, the Delhi government gave SGFI nearly six and a half crore rupees to feed the school children of their state in different international tournaments. Delhi government officials wrote a letter seven times in the last three years and asked for their account, but SGFI did not answer it even once. Also, the Delhi government paid SGFI per child as an expense to participate in competitions.

SGFI took 2.5 lakhs from the state government for feeding per child in international tournaments, two lakhs for feeding in Asian competitions and Rs 1 lakh for competitions in India. Along with this, Delhi government officials wrote letters seven times to pay the bill of expenditure, to return the money if the children do not go, but will not get lice on the ears of SGFI. First, in 2018, Delhi Government Deputy Director of Education Asha Aggarwal had sought information from SGFI Secretary Rajesh Mishra about the amount of money spent on each student. With this, many changes can be made in sports.
