Lucknow: Samajwadi Party MP from Sambhal Dr. Shafiqur Rahman Burq said in a recent statement, "All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi is not a "challenge" for the SP but he may lose some votes.'' At the same time, Shafiqur Rahman Burq also said, "He (Owaisi) is not a challenge for us, he is not in this position right now. He can do harm by cutting the votes but cannot win and he is nervous about the Samajwadi Party.''

At the same time, Burq also accused the BJP government in the state of oppressing the people. In fact, the SP MP also said, "We live in India, this is our country and we are proud of our country, we are in pain of our country, but since the BJP government came, people are not getting justice and they are being tortured.'' When former Uttar Pradesh Governor Aziz Qureshi was booked for sedition for his alleged derogatory remarks against state chief minister Yogi Adityanath, SP Sand said, "He has been a former governor and he is a responsible person and has the right to shed light on the situation in the country.''

Burq claims that Rampur MP Azam Khan is being tortured and demanded khan's release from jail. Let me tell you that a case was registered against Adityanath on Sunday at Civil Lines police station in Rampur district on a complaint by BJP leader Akash Kumar Saxena for his alleged derogatory remarks.

In fact, in his complaint, Saxena has alleged that Qureshi made derogatory statements against the Yogi Adityanath government after visiting Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan's house and meeting with his wife Tajin Fatima and compared them to a "blood-drinking monster." Qureshi (81) is a senior Congress leader and has also been the Governor of Mizoram from 2014 to 2015.
