One of the most famous franchises of Bollywood, Don. Don’s first part starring Amitabh Bachchan and second part starring Shah Rukh Khan became a major hit. These days the third part of the franchise is in news. As per filmmaker  Farhan Akhtar is coming back with Don 3 once again. Recently a report is surfaced according to which SRK has declined the offer of Don 3 as he was not satisfied with the script.

Now a new report surfaced, according to which the filmmaker had big plans for the third installment of the Don franchise. A report has revealed that he wanted to cast SRK and Amitabh Bachchan together for the project. The source added, "Farhan had an ambitious idea of getting Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan together in the third instalment. Interestingly, Bachchan saab was the lead in the original Don (1978).”

It further added, ‘It had a different ending and showed the good-natured Vijay surviving and Don dying, while SRK’s version showed vice versa. Hence, it's not clear whether or not Big B was supposed to play the role from the original version. However, Farhan definitely had thought of casting Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan in Don 3." The idea was that SRK's Don character would pass the baton to Ranveer's Don character so that he can take on the iconic role in the future parts."

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan has three big projects coming up. He was last seen for his cameo role  in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The actor will be soon headlining Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. For Jawan, he has teamed up with Atlee and for Dunki, he has collaborated with Rajkumar Hirani. Pathaan, on the other hand, is being helmed by Siddharth Anand.
