Patna: Bihar's Bahubali Shahabuddin, imprisoned in Tihar Jail, Delhi for the last 3 years, could not attend his father's funeral. Actually, Tihar Jail has refused to grant him parole. At the same time, the lengthy legal process is being cited as the reason. According to the information, former RJD MP from Siwan, Mo. Shahabuddin's father had died, due to which he had applied for parole with the DC of Tihar Jail. But he could not get parole.

It is noteworthy that Shahab Hussibullah, Shahabuddin's father, died on Saturday. 85-year-old Sheikh Hasibullah had been ill for almost two months, who was admitted to a hospital in Patna for treatment. After treatment, he was taken back home, where he breathed his last at his native place. Please tell that Shahabuddin is serving a life sentence in Delhi jail.

The judgment of the Patna High Court on August 30, 2017 was approved by the apex court. Shahabuddin was sentenced in the 2004 double murder case. In the year 2004, Shahabuddin and his henchmen burnt alive Chanda Babu's two sons, Satish and Girish Roshan, after being impregnated in Pratappur village under Siwan for not paying extortion money. In this case, 4 people including Shahabuddin were sentenced to life imprisonment.
