Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor's recent release, Kabir Singh, is earning a smoky box office. The film has been the biggest hit of Shahid's career. Some media reports say that Shahid Kapoor has raised his fee to Rs 35-40 crore after Kabir Singh's success.
Shahid Kapoor's reaction to these reports of fee hikes has also come to light. In a recent interview, the actor said, "I have to sign a film to get any amount. I think the people who are making money are Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khatami. So I have exactly the same bank balance that Kabir Singh had before. I'll have to sign the next project for money."
There were reports that Shahid Telugu will also work in the hit jersey after Kabir Singh. Shahid Kapoor has demanded Rs 40 crore to sign the movie. The film, directed by Sandeep Wanga, directed by Kabir Singh, has earned over Rs 270.43 crore in 33 days. More importantly, Kabir Singh has received as much criticism as the film has received.
