'Will blow up Yogi in 3 days..,' Shahid Khan threatens UP CM

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath received a bomb threat within three days. The person who threatened has been identified as Shahid Khan. After which the UP Police registered a case at Sushant Golf City police station in Lucknow and started looking for the accused. At the same time, teams of cyber and surveillance cells are also involved in the investigation of the case along with the police.

According to media reports, this threat has been given on the WhatsApp number of UP 112 Headquarters. According to Inspector-in-Charge Sushant Golf City Shailendra Giri, Subhash Kumar, posted as Operation Commander at UP 112 Headquarters, has alleged in his complaint that a message has come on his WhatsApp number, in which a person named Shahid Khan has threatened to blow up CM Yogi Adityanath. The police have registered a case based on the complaint.

Shailendra Giri has informed that Operation Commander Santosh Kumar has given him a screenshot of the threat given on WhatsApp. In view of the seriousness of the case, several teams of UP Police, including surveillance and cyber cell, are gathering information about the number. Efforts are also on to trace the location of the number.  Soon, the person who threatened CM Yogi will be arrested.

On December 11, 2020, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath received death threats on WhatsApp of Police Service Dial 112. Objectionable language and streets were also used in this threatening message. Earlier, CM Yogi was threatened on the WhatsApp number of dial 112 of the police on the evening of November 22, 2020. The cyber cell had found the location of Agra in the investigation of the phone number. After this, the team along with Sushant Golf City police station in-charge Sachin Singh arrested the accused minor from village Akola police station Mangrol Agra.
