Shahnawaz Hussain says, Aiyar's 'neech' remark has upset Gujarat

New Delhi [India], Dec 8 (NT): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday lashed out at suspended Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar's comment against Prime Minister Narendra Modi that has disappointed the people of Gujarat.

 Shahnawaz Hussain further claimed that Congress party should have put strict action against Aiyar earlier, as suspension post an offend does not matter.

"Sab kuch luta ke hosh main aae to kya hua? (So what if you came to wits, even if you had to lose everything)" asserted BJP leader, Shahnawaz Hussain.

"People of India and Gujarat are distress as to why a remark like this was used for the Prime Minister,"  Hussain further said.

Muffled similar feelings, BJP leader RP Singh also raised questions on Aiyar's behavior and asked whether the Congress believes that a person only with a well-built dynasty belonging can become the leader of a country.

Yesterday, Mani Shankar raised “Neech comment row” after he tagged to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a "neech aadmi".

 

Aiyar, earlier in the day,tagged  to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a "neech aadmi" after , at the launching of the Ambedkar International Centre, alleged Congress of deflation the father of the Indian Constitution.

 

"This person is a 'neech aadmi'. He (PM Modi)is not civilized and at a time like this (Gujarat Polls), there is no need to play such dirty politics," Aiyar commented.

 

Though, Mani Shankar Aiyar in a while shed light on that the 'neech faux pas go off due to his poor indulgent of Hindi language.

 

After his comment, the Congress suspended Aiyar immediately from the primary membership of the party and also issued directives for a show cause notice to him
