Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has urged people to make greater use of postal services so that it can be revived in the age of internet and digitalization. Khan released a special postal cover at a special event to mark the completion of 130 years of heritage Bandra railway station in Mumbai on Friday and interacted with the media.

Shah Rukh Khan, who attended the special event, said, "I have been with a lot of girls at the railway station..."

The program was organized at the station premises by School Education Minister Ashish Shelar and Western Railway General Manager A.K. Gupta was also involved. The actor further said, "I think writing letters keeps involved in some kind of beautiful, romantic and lovely passions. While our postal service has lagged far behind in today's world due to internet and digitalization, the way the Railway and Postal Department has decided to issue postage stamps to the railway station is indeed a commendable step.
