The female lead in Rashmi Sharma Telefilms' drama Kismat Ki Lakeeron Se will be played by actress Shaily Priya Pandey. She is best known for portraying Pavitra, the main character, in "Pavitraa Bharose Ka Safar." Additionally, she has made appearances in a number of TV shows, including Queens Hain Hum, Aap Ke Aa Jane Se, Jag Janani Maa Vaisho Devi, and Shaadi Ke Siyape.

She explains her personality by saying, "The one who makes an effort to keep her family together is Shraddha. Compared to the roles I've played in the past, Shraddha is a soft-spoken girl. My previous characters were all quite confident and headstrong. I therefore had to unlearn a lot of things from my previous roles in order to inhabit this character. She prioritizes her family and is willing to make ten compromises in order to get by. My tone in previous roles was very sharp, whereas it's very subdued in this one, so the approach is different."

When discussing her motivation for accepting the position, she says, "Among the other characters they were looking for, I had the option to choose to audition for the role of Shradha. Additionally, it is a major production that is produced by Rashmi Sharma, so of course I would say yes if they were considering casting me as the main character."

The one liner of the show is that a woman can make or break the house, she says while providing insight about the show. Shraddha and Keerti, two sisters, are central to the narrative. While Kirti, the younger sister, is completely different, vivacious, and irresponsible, Shraddha, the older sister, is the one who carries all the responsibility. Shraddha, who is set to marry a man with similar personality traits, dumps her in favor of Keerti, her younger sister, who is content and fortunate. He marries Keerti instead of continuing his marriage to Shraddha. But as Keerti's marriage upends his life, he later comes to understand his error. While Shradha and his younger, more playful brother were married as a result of family involvement. However, after marrying her, his tumultuous life finds purpose.

When asked if portraying a character on TV shows for a prolonged period of time becomes monotonous, she replies, "My passion is acting, so I never get bored. But even if it does, creativity is determined by how you can add original elements to your work to make it humorous and entertaining."
