Shai's 'Read Your Mind' album Song to be released on September

Onstage Records Label is slated to release singer-songwriter Shai's (Shayaan Oshidaar) pop song "Read Your Mind" on September 21. Shai, Rupinn Pahwa, Ryan Bickley, and Fridolin Walcher wrote and produced the upbeat Hinglish song. Shai, a young independent musician, is known for tracks such as "Jump," "Level," "So What," "Next To You," and others.

Shai gave a behind-the-scenes look at the song's creation. “This song was written over three years ago, before lockdown was a thing! In a session in London, Ryan, myself, and Freedo worked on it together and got it down to pitch. After listening to it for a few months, I realized it was the perfect fit for my project,” Shai explained.

'Read Your Mind' is about a dysfunctional relationship in which there is no communication and the truth only emerges through confrontation. The rest of the time, the connection is shrouded in secrecy. Rupinn, the song's co-writer, also wrote the hit song "Tareefan" from the film "Veere di Wedding."

“I then got in touch with Rupinn and asked him if he’d be down to collab on it and get a Hinglish vibe going. After just a few hours working on it we were buzzing and it came even more to life than before,” concluded Shai.
