In the current episode, Pratha kidnaps Shakti's infant and gives it to the professor. Shakti and Rishab argue. Shakti slashes Rishab. Pratha jerks awake. She is informed by Shakti that Rishab had no authority over her and is invited to travel with him. She attacks him as Shesh Naagin. He then attempts to stab himself, but Rishab intervenes. Before jumping off, he tells Rishab to live in guilt. To the temple goes Pratha with her daughter. Faristha is informed that this is Anmol. Pratha approaches Aunty and persuades her to remain with the family. Rajesh will meet his aunt. He admits to her that she murdered his wife, not he. Aunty chuckles as she remembers how he choked her. She explains to him that Pratha's adversary requested that she take her child away from her.

During the flashback, Mehek informs Aunty that Sahiba asked her to give the child to her. Flashback is over. Aunty informs Sahiba that Pratha killed Rajesh's wife, but Pratha is unaware that the girl with her is not her daughter. Aunty remembers switching Pratha's daughter for the Professor's. In a flashback, Pandit ji is heard telling Pratha's grandmother that her great granddaughter will kill Maha Asurs and become Shesh Naagin, saving India from the pandemic. When Paatali hears this, she is killed. Pratha is perplexed as to why Seema's grandmother was murdered.

She visits the temple later and queries Farishtha about the same. She assures the woman that her daughter will take on her shesh naagin identity. She asks God not to turn Anmol into a naagin. Professor gives the child the name Prarthana. Her eyes take on the appearance of a snake as it approaches. Pratha and Anmol visit the market 20 years later. Everybody is running in the market, they observe. They witness a tiger charging through the marketplace. Anmol faces the tiger, adopts a portion of Naagin's avatar, and saves a woman. Pratha is startled.
