Bigg Boss 15 fame Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat, who first met on the OTT version of the show, fell in love with each other during their stay in the house. However, soon after they came out of the show, rumors of their breakup started doing the rounds. The couple remained tight-lipped about it and sometimes even dismissed the media reports.
However, a few minutes ago, Shamita took to her social media account and made it official that Raqesh and she are not together.
Shamita shared a note on her Instagram story announcing their breakup and requested their fans to continue showering love on them. She also mentioned in the note that they had broken up a long ago and the new music video they have done together is for their fans.
She wrote, "I think its important to make this clear... Raqesh n I are no longer together and have not been for a while, but this music video is for all the beautiful fans who have given us so much love n support. Do continue to shower us with ur love as individuals too Heres to positivity and newer horizons Love and gratitude to you all...”
After sometime Raqesh Bapat also shared a note on his Instagram story agreeing to the announcement of their breakup and requested shara fans to shower their love individually.
He wrote, “I would like to share with you all that Shamita and I are no longer together. Destiny made our paths meet in the most unusual circumstances. Thank you so much to the beautiful Shara family for all the love and support. Being a private person, I did not want to publicly announce parting ways; however I feel we owe it to our fans to put this out. I am mindful that this will break your hearts but hope you can continue to shower your love on us as individuals too. Looking forward to all your support. This music video is dedicated to all of you”
Shamita and Raqesh, who met on Bigg Boss OTT for the first time, developed a close bond during the stay and their families were also comfortable with their relationship. After the show ended both took time out to spend some quality time together. They also visited each other’s home and met families.
The announcement of their breakup will surely come as a big shock to all the #shara fans that shipped them together.
