Women often experience "bad hair" days where they feel their hair too bad. This might be because they have not been washed properly. Here are some tips to help you get rid of those bad hair days:

1. Brush your hair before shampooing: Brushing hair before hair wash actually makes a difference. It makes your hair soft and smooth and can reduce hairfall.

2. Don't overwash your hair: Some people wash their hair daily. This might make your hair rough and dry. Wash only when needed. If you have flat hair, wash once every two days and if you have curly hair, wash once in three days.

3. Don't apply conditioner to roots: If you have been applying conditioner to your scalp, you need to stop as this might leads to hairfall. Apply conditioner starting from mid length till the end.

4. Don't wait for lather: Your shampoo doesn't have to give lather to ensure your hair is properly washed. Just shampoo and rinse off. It is just a marketing idea to shampo more than once so that you consume more quantity. Lots of washes leads to hairfall and rough hair.

5. Rinse using cold water: Hot water activates the sebaceous gland which secretes oil and can leave hair greasy soon after washing. A cool rinse of water will close the cuticle and seal in the moisture to each strand. It’s ok to shampoo your hair in hot water but finish it with a cold rinse.

6. Find the right product: Use a shampoo and conditioner that is suitable for your hair type. Some shampoos might not suit your hair and so be aware about your shampoo type- its is for dry hair or oily, anti-dandruff or nourishing; you should know the hair products before using them.

7. Remove the shampoo and conditioner properly: Make surely there isn't any shampoo or conditioner left in your hair as it might make your hair sticky and might end up looking very bad.
