LOS ANGELES: Simu Liu has declared his new relationship as official on Instagram. The 33-year-old "Shang-Chi" actor shared a photo of himself and girlfriend Allison Hsu holding hands during the Los Angeles premiere of "Violent Night" on social media.

According to "People," Liu can be seen grinning and around Hsu in the picture while donning a festive sweater with martini glass and Yin-Yang symbols. He finished the ensemble with a pair of white jeans.

Hsu, in contrast, was dressed in a green holiday sweater with a picture of a snowy landscape. She wore it with a grey skirt and tall black boots. Liu joked in his description, "pictured: two asians in front of santa's crotch," because the pair was depicted at the conclusion of the movie's enormous Santa Claus poster. In late November, when she shared a cuddly photo with Liu during a Blackpink concert, Hsu reportedly made their relationship on Instagram official.

The couple was seen cuddling up to one another in the picture, with Liu wrapping his arm over her as they both beamed for the camera, as Hsu captioned it with a smiling face.

Earlier this year, Liu was said to have been dating the actress Jade Bender.

After being seen together out on a dinner date and hanging out behind the scenes of a "Jimmy Kimmel Live" taping in June, the couple made their red carpet debut at the 2022 ESPY awards in July. The pair strolled the red carpet together and posed for pictures arm in arm at the ESPYs.
