Who does not know the famous director of Tollywood, Shankar in today's time. She always remains in the headlines due to his films. At the same time, the Chennai Police had recently sent summons to the tragic accident on the set of 'Indian 2' in EVP Film City, Chennai. On Thursday, it was director Shankar's turn to appear in front of the police in person. His statement was recorded from 11 am to 2 pm. Visually impaired Shankar has issued an official letter in which he has shared his sorrow for the lost life.

According to media reports, Shankar says in the letter that it is unfortunate that the accident happened despite all the precautionary measures taken by him and his team. He is getting emotional, he adds that more than relief he miraculously survived, saddened by his lost life. Regarding his assistant director Krishna, the ace director, one of the 3 dead, praised him for being a focused activist, winning his confidence in handling such a huge project within a month of joining him.

For your information, let us tell you that Shankar has announced that he is giving monetary relief of one crore rupees to the families of the dead, indicating that although it will not bring them back to life, at least it will give them some financial relief.
