Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who is one of the developed states of India, has said that citizenship amendment law (CAA) and NPR will not lead to citizenship. Ajit Pawar has said that some people are spreading confusion about CAA and NPR.

Shiv Sena chief also made it clear that his government will push the NPR process in Maharashtra.
