Mumbai: Allegations of a conspiracy by the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra to frame opponents are bringing colour. On Wednesday, NCP chief Sharad Pawar said the Maharashtra government will definitely examine the video submitted by BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis. Fadnavis has alleged that the Uddhav Thackeray government is conspiring to target opposition leaders. Not only this, but Fadnavis also accused the Uddhav government of misusing the police department. Speaking on the law and order situation in the Maharashtra Assembly, Fadnavis handed over a pen drive to deputy speaker Narhari Jirwal.

Talking to the media in Mumbai, Sharad Pawar said that his name is being taken directly or indirectly in this alleged conspiracy case, but he is not associated with it in any way. When Pawar was told that he was said to want to eliminate Fadnavis and BJP leader Girish Mahajan politically, he laughed. Pawar said it seems that the material submitted by Fadnavis also contains some ridiculous things. No one can end anyone like that.

Fadnavis, the same former chief minister, had handed over a pen drive containing a video recording to deputy speaker Narhari Jirwal on Tuesday. It explains how a conspiracy is being hatched by the police and government men to frame him and other BJP leaders. "In the video, public prosecutor Praveen Chavan has claimed that high-level meetings were held from the CM to the state DGP to implicate BJP leader Girish Mahajan under MCOCA and arrest him.'' Fadnavis said, "In the video, Praveen Chavan is seen claiming that NCP chief Sharad Pawar wants to eliminate Fadnavis and other BJP leaders politically and this work has been given to Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey.''
