Stock market swang in festive season, Sensex crossed 62000 for first time in history

Mumbai: The Indian stock market has been constantly buzzing for the past week. The Sensex at the BSE has crossed the 62,000 mark for the first time on Tuesday. The Sensex gained 391 points, to 62,156.48. Shortly thereafter, the Sensex jumped 394 points to 62,159.29. Similarly, the Nifty at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) gained 125 points to 18,602.35 and reached 18,604.45 in no time.
 
There are strong signs from global markets. in the Us, S&P and Nasdaq closed higher on Monday. With the advent of new products from Apple, there has been an optimistic outlook on the entire technology and communication companies. Similarly, The Ash-Iyai markets are open with gains on Tuesday morning. Japan's Nikkei strengthened 225 0.43% and the Topix Index 0.14 per cent. South Korea's Kospi strengthened 0.51 per cent. Singapore's SGX Nifty is also open with a surge, which is expected to keep the Indian market strong.

Earlier, the Indian stock market had reached a record high on Monday as well. BSE Sensex gained 512 points to close at 61,817.32 on Monday and reached around 62,000.  The Sensex jumped 658 points to 61,963.07 at around 2.10 pm during trading. At the end of trading, Sensex gained 459.64 points to close at 61,765.59.
