New Delhi: A petition has been filed in the supreme court of the country against the alleged Congress toolkit case. The case has been termed as a conspiracy to incite people against the government and tarnish India's image in the world. Petitioner advocate Shashank Shekhar Jha has sought an inquiry from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to ascertain the global conspiracy and revoke the Recognition of the Congress if found guilty.

Jha in his PIL specified that the case should be investigated for disclosure of any offence under section 120-B (criminal conspiracy), several sections of IPC and Section 13 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The petition said that the Central Government should be directed to frame guidelines that no party, group shall put up posters and banners containing anti-national content. At the same time, funerals and bodies of those who died from corona should not be shown. Also, instructions should be issued to the Central Government regarding hoarding of essential commodities during corona epidemic.

The petitioner said that the Central government should conduct an inquiry into the matter and if the Congress is found responsible in the investigation and endangers the lives of the people and is found to be indulging in anti-national activities, its registration should be cancelled. Although Congress has categorically forbidden the creation of the 'toolkit document', reports suggest that the author is actually a member of the AICC. Tell us that Soumya Verma's name has emerged as the producer of the document. Soumya has now deleted all her social media accounts including LinkedIn. On the other hand, AICC chief Rajiv Gowda has admitted that one of the two leaked documents of the toolkit has been prepared by the research department of the All India Congress Committee (AICC). However, he has also accused the BJP of tampering with the toolkit.
