The Kapoor family has been playing bollywood films from generation to generation. From Prithviraj Kapoor to Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, Shashi Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor and then karisma kapoor, kareena kapoor and ranbir kapoor, one of the actors from this family gave the best films. Although the family may be the same, everyone's personality was completely different from each other. Shashi Kapoor, a member of the same family, always had a very gentle and simple personality. Shashi Kapoor was as quiet as he was in his roles in real life. Being from a film family, Shashi was always inclined towards acting. He did many films as a child artiste. After that, he also did theatre for a long time. Shashi Kapoor was someone who made every maker-director go crazy about his simplicity and personality. However, he did not experiment very differently with his roles. Shashi Kapoor in particular loved to stay away from action scenes. Today is Shashi Kapoor's death anniversary.

While shooting for his 1979 movie 'Suhag', something happened that Shashi Kapoor completely broke up with action. Director Manmohan Desai somehow convinced Shashi Kapoor for action in the climax scene of the movie. Villain Amjad Khan was trying to escape from the helicopter in the scene. While Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor had to stop him. It required shooting scenes with the two actors hanging from the bottom of the helicopter. The scene was shot in Singapore as it was not allowed in India. That's what the climax shooting started now. As per the script, Amitabh and Shashi Kapoor followed the helicopter on a bike and grabbed the rope hanging from it and swung it.

Thereafter, the helicopter flew into the air and reached a height of about 100 metres. Manmohan Desai was watching all this through binoculars. Shashi Kapoor was very scared because of this. The rope also started slipping from his hand due to sweat. Due to the loud noise and height of the helicopter, no one could even hear the sound of him saying 'scene cut'. Everything seemed fine to the director when viewed from a distance. On the other hand, Shashi Kapoor's hand could have been freed from the rope at any time. At the same time, the wind was so strong that he could not handle himself. Thereafter, he somehow grabbed the pipe of the helicopter's stand with his other hand and closed his eyes for a while. There were tears in his eyes at that time. After the scene ended, Shashi Kapoor sat completely alone for some time. When he was asked the reason for this, he told that he felt as if he would not survive today. After this he also became very angry with Manmohan Desai. He also announced that he will never do any action scenes after this. According to reports, after the actor's checkup, it was found that due to this his muscles were strained.
