Veteran Congress leader admits- Kashmiri Pandits suffered a lot, should get justice

New Delhi: The debate over the film 'The Kashmir Files' is not going to stop. The National Conference (NC) has said that the makers have ignored the struggle of Muslims and Sikhs who are suffering from terrorism. This is far from true, while senior Congress leader and Lok Sabha MP Shashi Tharoor shared a post and wrote that it is true to a great extent in the post. Kashmiri Pandits suffered a lot. We must stand up for their rights. Kashmiris should get justice.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, while sharing Bilal Zaidi's post on Facebook, wrote that this post is very much correct: Kashmiri Pandits suffered a lot. We should stand up for their rights, but calling them villains of Kashmiri Muslims is not going to help the Pandits. Hate divides and kills. Kashmiris need justice. All you need to do is listen, help and correct.

Let me tell you that Bilal Zaidi wrote in his post that, the suffering of Kashmiri Pandits was real. Just because a propagandist has made a film on the subject, or that the right-wing attempts to hijack it whenever possible, does not mean that Kashmiri Pandits were not driven out of their homes. Numbers don't matter. Even though 3 members of the minority community have been killed, no innocent person should die due to hatred. Unless you accept the pain of the suffering people, you cannot resolve any differences.
