Shashikant Shelar the Owner/ Founder of the 9EX group of companies, which was founded in 2014. As in lockdown all 9Ex work was on hold. Shashikant with his younger brother Tejas Shelar Started up a new E-commerce company under 9Ex Group of companies. In which the lockdown has been a period of bane for many who lost their jobs and work. But for few it proved out to be a blessing in disguise. If you talk about the duo entrepreneurs like Shashikant Shelar and Tejas Shelar, lockdown proved to be a boon for them. They leverage the spare time at home to conceive the idea of a new venture called Local Bhajiwala, a portal for supplying vegetables and fruits in the local suburbs of Mumbai. 

As the lockdown was announced, they had enough time to embark with something interesting. They registered for a domain on Local Bhajiwala and used their time to come out with a portal catering to the vegetable business. As the unlock procedure came into force by the administration the Shelar brothers were quick to launch their site announcing their services in all the suburbs of Mumbai along with the vicinity areas like Navi Mumbai and Thane.

In just 3 months of the company's formation, the company had a huge turnover of INR 5 Million, which is huge and incredible. With his team of 30 people in the city, the two brothers were able to create the magic giving the best of the services by delivering vegetables and fruits in the said areas. In his first 90 days, the duo was able to reach out to more than 3000 clients. With a good quality service and products, they are projecting a gross turnover of INR 60 Million by the end of this financial year.
