Actor turned Politician Shatrughan Sinha who is the leader of BJP praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi  for taking the initiative, bridging the gap and attempting to build consenus with political opponents on Wednesday. MP Sinha made these comments day after bonhomie between the arch rivals was in the full display on Saturday.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar urging PM Modi to "keep visiting" the state while the latter gesturing masses chanting "Modi, Modi" to calm down while Kumar spoke.

Relevantly, politician Shatrughan Sinha tweeted ““Delighted that our dashing, dynamic PM has taken the initiative in bridging the gaps and moving towards consentual politics....”

While apologising, he tweeted, “I am sorry I could not be there with our people, with our progressive PM Modi and our development oriented CM Nitish Kumar.”

“In the interest of development & progress of my Bihar, I would have been there with our dashing, dynamic and action hero Prime Minister.”

 His another tweet said “On the stage and everywhere during his recent visit. Unfortunately, due to a tragedy in my family, I was unable to accompany him”.

Shatrughan ji also expressed his concern over Mahatma Gandhi Setu Bridge and share his tweet ““I am greatly concerned about the condition of Mahatma Gandhi Setu, the lifeline connecting North & South Bihar. It is in urgent need of repair & stregthening. Hope wish and pray that the much needed, desired and deserved package”.
