New Delhi: With the defeat in the Jharkhand Assembly elections, within a year, another state has slipped from the BJP's hands after Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra. In the election results declared on Monday, the Grand Alliance of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Congress and Arejadi won 47 seats in the state.

BJP has got only 25 seats. Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubardas too could not save his seat.
