Actress Shayantani Ghosh is soon becoming a part of the serial ‘Laal Ishq’.Shayantani is replacing Actress Nigar khan from the show. It is difficult to replace any television character, Nigar just before 2 days of the shoot refused to work, then Shayantani got the role.

Nigaar was roped in for one of the episodes and was supposed to play a sensuous bhabhi. But the actress stepped down two days before the shoot was to begin. Luckily, the issue was resolved in a jiffy when Sayantani came to the rescue.

While the reason of Nigaar’s departure from the show isn’t clear, when we asked Sayantani about it, she said, “The concept of the show is quite fresh and I think, our viewers are done with the boring Laila-Majnu kind of love stories. My character is someone who believes that a woman should get what she desires, even in carnal matters. She is quite bold and sensuous and is very instrumental to the story. I am very excited to see how it all plays out.”
