Raipur: Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel's son Chaitanya Baghel's wedding function will be attended by veterans from all over India. Chaitanya's wedding will take place on Sunday at a private hotel in the capital Raipur. Congress leaders will reach Raipur on Saturday to attend the wedding ceremony.
Meanwhile, there is talk that Congress national general secretary and in charge of the country's largest state UP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra may also attend the wedding ceremony. However, their official program has not yet come. It is being said that former Madhya Pradesh CMs Digvijay Singh, BK Hariprasad, KTS Tulsi, Shaktisinh Gohil, PL Punia, Chandan Yadav, Saptagiri Shankar Ulka will reach Raipur. All these leaders will leave after attending the wedding ceremony on Sunday.
Along with Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the same CM Bhupesh Baghel has now been made the party's star campaigner in the assembly elections of Punjab by the Congress leadership. All India Congress Committee has released the list of 30 star campaigners of the party for Punjab elections. Apart from Baghel, other leaders including Congress National President Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Vadra are included in this list. Baghel is also playing the responsibility of Congress's star attendant in UP elections as well as senior Congress observer.
