New Delhi: On Tuesday, Senior Congress leader Sheila Dikshit tweeted to ask PM Narendra Modi to order an Independent and thorough probe into the Sahara Diaries. "Why is @PMOIndia shying from an independent and a thorough probe into the #BirlaSaharaPapers?," This is what she tweeted.

While Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi earlier said that he has documents that PM Modi has taken money as a bribe from the Sahara and Birla groups.

The diaries and CD's seized by Income Tax Officials in the raids on Sahara and Birla's offices, are the basis of allegations made by Rahul Gandhi. Some entries made by Sahara officials in the diary, name of CM Gujrat is mentioned, on that basis it is concluded that Sahara group has paid Modi nine times between October 2013 and February 2014 money amounting to Rs 40 crores. But there is no proof from the side of receivers that they have received the money.
