Let us also tell you that the 94th Academy Awards will be held in the US on March 27 next year. Preparations have already started in every country. The process of selecting films for the same awards function has started at Bhavanipur in Calcutta. Here, a panel of 15 judges shortlisted 14 films. A total of 14 films including Malayalam film Naytu, Tamil film Mandela have reportedly been shortlisted besides Vidya Balan's Sherni and Vicky Kaushal's Udham Singh. You must be aware that last year Malayalam film Jallikattu was sent to the Oscars but it did not manage to win the award.

Now, if we talk about Sherni and Udham Singh, both these films were released on OTT and both of them received a forced response. Vidya Balan played the role of a forest officer in the film Sherni and the film had directly hurt serious issues like administration and corruption. Vicky Kaushal's 'Sardar Udham' is a true story depicting the bravery of Udham Singh, who took the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Both are going to show a strong story.
