Writer Rahul Pandita has expressed concern over a statement by Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. Rahul says that the actress cannot understand the grief of Kashmiri Pandits due to the demolition of only one wall of her office.

Expressing distress over the actress' statement, Rahul wrote on social media, "I am sorry, but from the demolition of a wall you cannot understand the pain of Kashmiri Pandits. You do not know how it is when all your hair turns white in three days; you do not know how it is when old people die in exile, crying about their inability to see home one last time."
He also said, our tragedy was very big, so do not try to make it small. What would you say if your finger is injured somewhere tomorrow? I understand the grief of Kashmiri Pandits. On Wednesday, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, taking action at the office of the actress, has broken some part of it. Saddened by this matter, Kangana shared a video message on social media.
