New Delhi: The Indian cricket team has suffered a major setback before the tour of New Zealand. Opener Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out of the five-match T20 series due to a shoulder injury. Team India has reached New Zealand for this series. Dhawan did not accompany Team India to Auckland on Monday. However, the selectors have not yet announced the name of any other player in his place.

Shikhar Dhawan suffered a shoulder injury during the third ODI against Australia in Bengaluru on Sunday. He did not even come to bat because of this.
