Mumbai: After a long wait in Maharashtra, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has expanded the cabinet, but the MLAs are also expressing their displeasure due to the lack of ministerial posts. Three times MLA Sanjay Shirsat from Aurangabad has started expressing his displeasure over not being made a minister. He expressed his displeasure by tweeting in praise of Uddhav Thackeray.
In his tweet, Shirsat described Uddhav Thackeray as the "family chief of Maharashtra". However, after 10 minutes of tweeting, Shirsat deleted it and while clarifying this tweet has been described as a technical fault. Talking in an interview, Shirshat said that we all in the Shinde group are very happy. Aurangabad West MLA Sanjay Shirsat supported Eknath Shinde by showing a rebellious attitude amid the power struggle in Maharashtra. Due to his involvement in the Shinde camp from the very beginning, there was talk of taking him into the cabinet too.
Regarding not getting the ministerial post, he said that my displeasure is natural. I have been in politics for 38 years and I should have got a ministerial post. Although that tweet happened due to technical reasons. I'm not going anywhere. I speak directly what I say. The cabinet has expanded in Maharashtra, but the controversy still persists. According to sources, there is a tussle between Eknath Shinde and the BJP over the division of the department. Most criticism is also being done about the non-inclusion of any woman in the Council of Ministers. BJP leader Pankaja Munde on Thursday expressed her displeasure over not being given a place due to the expansion of the Maharashtra cabinet. He said that perhaps he did not have enough qualifications.
