Mumbai: Sai Baba temple in Shirdi, Maharashtra has been closed since 8 pm last Monday. According to reports, this world-famous temple of Baba is currently going to remain closed till 30th April. It is being said that all the other events of the temple will continue as before. As per the decision taken at present, all the rituals, including aarti and pooja recitals, to be held here 4 times daily, will be followed through the temple-affiliated pundits. Along with this, the Prasadalaya and the devotees' residence have been closed along with this temple.
Indeed, Ravindra Thackeray, executive officer of Shirdi Sai Institute, says that treatment of patients in Kovid Hospital and other non-Kovid hospitals started by the institute will continue as before. As you all know, the Shirdi Sai Baba temple administration has taken this decision after the Maharashtra government took precautionary decisions like lockdown imposed to prevent the spread of the corona epidemic. At this time, Corona is also wreaking havoc in Mumbai, due to which the Siddhivinayak temple has also been closed from 8 o'clock on Monday night till the next order for darshan.
Here regular Aarti and Puja will continue as before which will be webcast. These days the Maharashtra government is adopting a tough attitude. In view of the increasing corona cases in Maharashtra, a night curfew has been announced all over Maharashtra. There will be a ban on people leaving the house from 8 am to 7 am, in addition to 5 people standing together in the evening has been banned. Here the lockdown has been decided on weekends.
