Shirdi: Rain and floods continue in the country's southern regions. In Maharashtra, 30 people have lost their lives so far due to heavy rains and floods. In addition, 42 people have died in Kerala. In Maharashtra, normal life is paralysed due to heavy rains. The Shirdi Saibaba Institute has offered help to help people affected by rain and floods. The Shirdi Saibaba Institute has announced an assistance of Rs 10 crore for the flood affected areas.

It is worth mentioning here that Suresh Howre, president of the Shirdi Saibaba Institute, confirmed this on Saturday. The Rs 10 crore assistance is being provided by the religious institution to be deposited in the Chief Minister's Assistance Fund. The flood has badly affected normal life in Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara district of west Maharashtra. In view of this, the Shirdi Saibaba Institute has announced an assistance of Rs 10 crore.

Several districts of West Maharashtra are in the grip of severe flood. This is the reason why CM Devendra Fadnavis visited both the flood-affected districts of Sangli and Kolhapur on Saturday to take stock of the situation. Before CM Fadnavis, Maharashtra Water Resources Minister Girish Mahajan has also visited the flood-hit areas.
