Sena Chief wants that the formula which was followed in 2014 should be kept on in 2019 as well, where BJP will contest elections on 27 seats and Sena on 21 Lok Sabha seats. This can only be happen if BJP accepts Sena as superior in the state and lets Sena leader as a Chief Ministerial candidate.

As per sources, Sena Chief has also stated that he is also ready to contest the elections with half of the 288 Maharashtra assembly seats, which would be 144 seats each; but the Chief Minister should be as of Shiv Sena only.
