Shiv Sena corners BJP for fresh hike in Fuel prices

New Delhi [India], Oct 6 (NT): It has been just two days when FM Arun Jaitely provided big relief to citizens by announcing cut of fuel prices all over the country but today once again petrol and diesel prices have witnessed a fresh hike on Saturday. The price for petrol was increased by 0.18 paise per litre whereas the price of Diesel is raised by 0.29 paise per litre. After this increse, Petrol is being sold at Rs 81.68 per litre and Diesel is being sold at 73.24 per litre in the National capital Delhi.

MumbaiKar also witnessed a hike of 0.18 paise in petrol prices and it is being sold at Rs 87.15 per litre, but the price of diesel has cut  by 0.70 paise and it is being sold at Rs 76.75 per litre. Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena cornered the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Central and state government and  asserted the fuel price cut is an insufficient small decrease . Uddhav Thackeray led  party in its mouthpiece, Saamna said that the small cut in prices of diesel and petrol is like applying an ointment on a serious patient in an ICU. The party accused state and central government of distressing citizen by allowing fuel prices to sky-rocket. Shiv Sena also alleged that heavy taxes are being slapped on these fuel commodities by State and Centre.
