According to information received from sources, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, who used to chant 'Hindutva', even said that Shiv Sena is already secular. Earlier, Congress placed a condition before Shiv Sena to be "secular", excluding militant 'Hindutva'.

According to media reports, on Wednesday night, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar had a conversation with Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray. In which Pawar talked of being secular with the Shiv Sena under the "Common Minimum Program". Shiv Sena's leader has also agreed to this. That is, Shiv Sena is not avoiding to accept any kind of condition to form a government.
