Mumbai: Thepolitical crisis in Maharashtra continues to deepen. On the one hand, rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde has been repeatedly challenging the Maharashtra government, while on the other hand, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is seen helpless. Not only this, Shinde has now also claimed to have completed the magic number. He has said that 37 Shiv Sena MLAs are present with him and no anti-defection law will be applicable. Meanwhile, Sharad Pawar has warned the rebel MLAs that this is not right for your future.

The Assam Police arrested Shiv Sena's deputy district chief Sanjay Bhosale, who was present near the Radisson Blu Hotel in Guwahati. Sanjay Bhosale was appealing to the rebel MLAs staying in the hotel to return to Maharashtra. At the same time, the Assam Police said that it is a sensitive area. Police say action will be taken as per the law. "I have reached Guwahati today itself and request party MLA Eknath Shinde to return to 'Matoshree'. The Shiv Sena has given a lot to its MLAs.

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut in a tweet said that a Union minister of the BJP has said that if efforts are made to save the Maha Vikas Aghadi government, Sharad Pawar will not be allowed to go home. Whether the Maha Vikas Aghadi government has been there or not, the use of such language is not acceptable to Sharad Pawar. The Sena MLA tally in the Eknath Shinde camp is expected to cross 50 as more MLAs are likely to reach Guwahati today.
