Shiv Sena leader assaulted the women cop

Member of the Shiv Sena and Shakhapramukh Shashikant Kalgude is in the police custody for beating up women traffic constable on duty.

Kalgude’s driving license must be permanent suspended recommended the traffic police. ‘’attacking women officer on duty is a serious offense, so I have written a letter to the RTO that his driving license should be terminated for life. He has previous crime record too. He is behind the bars now’’ said Traffic DCP Rashmi Karandikar.

Around 11:30am on Thursday, Kalgude was driving the car while talking in the phone, seeing this traffic constable Seema Kale who was on duty stopped and ask his license and vehicle document. Suddenly Shiv Sena member Kalgude started slapped her and abused her, he punched on her nose after which she started bleeding seeing this other police caught him and handed over the Naupada Police station. After that he was presented in the Magistrate Court and remanded to police custody.

However, Eknath Shinde the Shiv Sena guardian minister published a blog that Kalgude is not a Sena member and Yuva Sena Pramukh Aaditya Thackeray condemned the incident and tweeted that ‘’it is a shameful incident and has no political backing’’.

Meanwhile, when Kalgude arrested many Shiv Sena worker, including Sena corporators gathered around and protest.
