In Maharashtra's Osmanabad district, on Wednesday, Shiv Sena MP Omraje Nimbalkar was attacked by an unknown person with a knife, injuring him. In this case, the police said that "the incident happened when Nimbalkar was addressing an election rally in Padoli Naigaon village of Kalamb taluka." While speaking in this case, a police officer said, "During the rally, the person approached him with a group on the pretext of joining hands with Nimbalkar. Nimbalkar is an MP from Osmanabad Lok Sabha seat.

Talking further, he said, "While greeting the MP, the person attacked him with a knife and immediately escaped from there. Nimbalkar has suffered an injury to his hand although he did not get injured due to wristwatch on his hand.

Simultaneously, let us tell you that the father of a Lok Sabha MP was shot dead in his car on June 3, 2006, near Kalamboli on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and his father was a Congress leader. At the same time, former Lok Sabha MP Padmasinh Patil is the main accused in this case.
