Maharashtra: Shiv Sena's Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut has made a big announcement last Sunday. He said in a statement last Sunday, "the party has decided to contest the forthcoming assembly in West Bengal." On Sunday, Raut said, "The decision to contest the elections was made after discussions with Maharashtra Chief minister and Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray." In addition, Sanjay Raut has also made a tweet.

In his tweet, he writes, "There is much-awaited information. Shiv Sena has decided to contest assembly elections in West Bengal after discussions with party chief Uddhav Thackeray. We are arriving in Kolkata soon.... Jai Hind, Jai Bangla." Despite saying all this, Sanjay Raut said, "How many seats Shiv Sena will contest in West Bengal. '
The elections to the 294-member West Bengal Assembly are likely to be held in the month of April-May this year. Shiv Sena is in power with NCP and Congress in Maharashtra and the three parties have formed a grand development alliance.
