On December 6, 1992, in the case of demolition in Ayodhya, a special CBI court today  all the, acquitted all the accused giving the verdict. All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has described it as a sad day in the history of the Indian judiciary. On the other hand, Shiv Sena has welcomed this decision.

Asaduddin Owaisi said, "Today is a sad day in the history of the Indian judiciary. The court now says that there was no conspiracy. Please tell me, how many days and months of preparation are required for an action to be smooth?" The Hyderabad MP also said, "The decision by the CBI court is a dark day for the Indian judiciary as the Supreme Court had already said that the dispute was arrogant violation of law and it was the case of abolition of public place of worship".

Owaisi said, "This is an issue of justice. This is an issue of ensuring that people who are responsible for Babri Masjid demolition should've been convicted. But they've been politically rewarded in the past by becoming HM & HRD minister. BJP is in power because of this issue".

Questioning the court's decision, Owaisi said, "The accused Bhagwan Goyal confessed outside the court that he helped in destroyed Babri. But he got acquitted". Earlier, after this decision of the court, Owaisi tweeted "vahī qātil vahī munsif adālat us kī vo shāhid bahut se faisloñ meñ ab taraf-dārī bhī hotī hai".

Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut said, "The judgment said that the demolition was not a conspiracy and the result of the circumstances, it was an expected decision. We should forget that episode. If the Babri Masjid had not been destroyed, we would not have seen any land worship for the Ram temple". Raut said, "Me and my party, Shiv Sena, welcome the decision." Many people have questioned this decision.
