Mumbai: After comparing Chief Minister Eknath Shinde with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Maharashtra, the political temperature in the state has once again risen. Maharaj Chhatrapati and Chief Minister Shinde have been compared by Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Tourism Minister in the Maharashtra government. Mangal Prabhat Lodha has said that Eknath Shinde coming out of Uddhav Camp with his supporters is just like Shivaji Maharaj was freed from the clutches of Mughal ruler Aurangzeb by dodging him in Agra Fort. This statement of Mangal Prabhat Lodha has been sharply criticized by the opposition.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde clarified that the controversy over this has increased. Talking to the media at Pratapgarh Fort, CM Shinde said that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj cannot be compared to anyone. Then, Mangal Pratap Lodha also clarified. He said "My intention was not to compare Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Guerrilla warfare and the great deeds of our king are an inspiration for all of us. In everyday life, we say such things in good faith, but it does not mean that I have made any comparisons.''

Let us tell you that a few days ago, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari compared Chhatrapati Shivaji to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. There was a lot of quarrel in Maharashtra politics on this too.
