The Samajwadi party today has announced its 191 candidates list for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections that are going to held in seven phases which are scheduled to began from 11 February.

In the list, the close candidates of Mulayam Singh have been left out. Last month, Mulayam Singh released the list of Candidates which is now corrected with some changes.

Shivpal Yadav will contest election from Jaswantnagar constituency while his Son Aditya and Atiq Ahmed has not been given ticket. Senior minister Azam Khan will contest election from Rampur Constituency who remained a mediator between the Mulayam Singh and Akhilesh Yadav in the past few weeks.

The Election Commission granted Akhilesh Yadav the party name and symbol by refusing the claim on it by Mulayam Singh Yadav.
