Bhopal: After the scrapping of Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP leaders are making controversial statements. After Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, now former Madhya Pradesh CM and senior BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made a similar statement. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Jawaharlal Nehru, who was the country's first PM, is a "criminal".

"When the Indian Army was chasing Pakistani tribes from Kashmir, Jawaharlal Nehru declared a ceasefire," Shivraj Singh Chouhan told reporters in a press conference, according to news agency ANI. Pak has occupied one-third of Kashmir. If ceasefire was not held for a few more days, the whole Kashmir would have been ours," he said.

"The second offence of Jawaharlal Nehru is Section 370," he said, adding, "Two marks in one country, two legislations, two princes, it is not injustice but an offence against one country." Red Khattar finally had to come clean. "I consider the girls of Kashmir as my daughters. I didn't mean to make any wrong comments. Every daughter in the country is our daughter.'
