Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held an important meeting last Thursday, during which he said, "The Central government is providing a vaccine to Madhya Pradesh to protect it from covid as per the requirement.'' Referring to a discussion with Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya yesterday, the Chief Minister said, "The Union Health Minister has assured that Madhya Pradesh will get adequate doses as per the requirement so far. The supply will help in making the upcoming Vaccination Mahaabhiyan successful, which is being conducted on September 17.''

You must be aware that the Mahaabhiyan is being conducted on the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In a meeting held in the ministry last Thursday, CM Shivraj directed to make the mega campaign successful. CM Shivraj was accompanied by Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Chaudhary, Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman, and Health Commissioner Akash Tripathi. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister, Shri Chouhan said, "Set a target of vaccinating at least 10 lakh people in the state every day. After 17th September, in the last week of this month also, all efforts should be made to achieve the target of planting 100% eligible people. If possible, the task of getting public support based on the electoral rolls and bringing people to the centers for vaccination should be done so that the campaign can reach the target of 100 percent vaccination.''

At the same time, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also said, "The district stake in vaccination is less than 70 percent and will be reviewed in consultation with collectors and members of the District Crisis Management Group. The meeting also informed that out of 5.49 crore persons eligible for vaccination in the state, 4.07 crore have been administered the first dose and 93 lakh persons have been administered the second dose so far. The districts where progress is more than 80% include Indore, Agar-Malwa, Bhopal, Sehore, Harda, Shahdol, Ratlam, Ujjain, Neemuch, Shajapur, Guna, and Datia.''
