Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held discussions with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday over the situation in corona in the state. The CM briefed the Prime Minister about the ever declining positivity rate in the state. CM Shivraj conveyed to PM Narendra Modi the efforts made by the state government. The Chief Minister briefed the Prime Minister about the progress of Kill Corona Campaign, Corona Curfew, Corona Volunteers, Isolation Centre, Covid Care Centre in the State, Government's efforts for construction of temporary covid hospitals, public awareness campaign, yoga-free campaign.

 

 

At the same time, CM also discussed with the PM the progress of the ongoing vaccination in the state. After knowing all this, PM Modi assured CM Shivraj of all possible help. After the interaction, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh tweeted, "I discussed with Prime Minister Modi in detail the supply of Remdesivir injection, availability and supply of oxygen and new oxygen plants being constructed in the state. Also discussed with the Prime Minister the progress of the ongoing vaccination drive in the state. I thank him very much, under his leadership, the campaign to free Madhya Pradesh from Corona is going on.''

 

 

At the same time, he further wrote: "The Prime Minister, Shri @narendramodi, has expressed satisfaction over the efforts of the Government of Madhya Pradesh and assured me of all possible help from the Central Government. I thank him very much. Under his leadership, a campaign is on to free Madhya Pradesh from #COVID19. #MPFightsCorona." Tell you that the corona infection in Madhya Pradesh is slowly declining, though the situation is still deteriorating somewhere.
