Bhopal: A cabinet meeting was suddenly convened by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The market for speculation was ardent about the meeting, though the meeting deliberated on extending the benefits of public welfare schemes to the people. As part of the information received, the meeting chalked out a strategy on the programmes that will begin on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday and continue till Good Governance Day. Let me tell all of you that the meeting was held at the Chief Minister's residence last Friday afternoon.

During the meeting, not only discussions were held on the ongoing welfare schemes in the State but also a strategy was chalked out. State Home Minister Narottam Mishra, who walked out after the meeting, said, "The government's schemes have been discussed at every point with the public welfare programme being run by the Madhya Pradesh government on Prime Minister Modi's birthday. Other programmes including education, women empowerment, Jal Jeevan Se are to be organized by 7th October.''

Moreover, referring to the Mega Vaccination to control the Corona epidemic, he said, "Madhya Pradesh overtook Gujarat in administering the first dose. 100 per cent vaccination was examined.
