Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has recently said, "The drugs business will not flourish in Madhya Pradesh. This black business will be destroyed." CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched the de-addiction centre for the victims of drugs in Indore yesterday. He also released the mobile de-addiction centre. He expressed satisfaction over the action taken by the administration in Indore against drug traders in the recent past. In the meantime, he asked senior officials of the Indore administration to root out the black business of drugs. He said, "Drug peddlers, land mafia, chit fund mafia, goons and other such people will not be spared."

CM Chouhan and MP Jyotiraditya Scindia came to Indore last evening and was greeted by legislators including MP Shankar Lalwani at the airport. Former minister Tulsi Cilavat also reached Indore. Chief Minister and Scindia attended a marital ceremony last year and both blessed the couple. Recently, Dr Pawan Sharma said, "The drug treatment centre (de-addiction centre) being launched today is sanctioned under the drug de-addiction programme. The programme will be implemented by National Centre AIIMS and Regional Centre KEM Mumbai."

He also informed that through this centre, OPD, IPD, free essential medicines and psychological measures for community awareness such as counselling and IEC etc. In addition, the nodal officer of the centre will be Superintendent of Mental Hospital, Indore. He further said, "Mobile unit is being launched to create awareness about de-addiction in the city and to provide drug-free service to drug addicts as per requirement. '
