New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has promised free corona vaccine to the people of the state in its manifesto for Bihar assembly elections. After this election promise, the main opposition parties have targeted the BJP. Shiv Sena spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut has now targeted the BJP's promise in this order.

Sanjay Raut said that when we were children, we heard a declaration, ' You give me blood, I will give you freedom '. Now a new announcement I'm hearing, ' You vote us, we will give you the vaccine '. Raut further said that earlier we were divided in the name of caste and religion, now being divided in the name of the vaccine. The major opposition parties accused the BJP's election promise of providing coronavirus vaccine free of cost to the people of Bihar on Thursday accusing it of using an epidemic for political gains and demanding action from the Election Commission.

Meanwhile, former Congress President and MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency of Kerala, Rahul Gandhi, while addressing the BJP's promise, said that the Government of India has announced a strategy for distribution of corona vaccine and now people can look into the state-wise election programmes to know how to achieve it.
