New Delhi: The issue of drugs was capped in Bollywood on Monday in the monsoon session of Parliament. On Tuesday, Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Jaya Bachchan has termed the conspiracy to tarnish Bollywood image. On her statement, Kangana Ranaut attacked and urged her to have a sense of compassion for her. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut came out in support of Jaya Bachchan. He says Jaya Bachchan's statement is correct.

The Shiv Sena leader said that the Bachchan family can reply to the statement made by Kangana Ranaut. He said that she should provide evidence to the Home Ministry, home Secretary and agencies for whatever allegations are being made about Shiv Sena's young leader Aditya Thackeray. Sanjay Raut said that those who are questioning should give dope tests first. If drugs are coming through international routes, it is the responsibility of the centre and the central agencies to stop and take action.

Sanjay Raut said that if there are some bad people in the film world, it does not mean that the entire industry should be discredited.  With Raut, Shiv Sena spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi has also come out openly in support of Jaya Bachchan's statement. In a tweet, she said, Jaya Ji spoke brilliantly. She has worked in the film industry, that is why she has come in support of her. The film industry is the power of the country, so it is not correct to defame it.
